Cookie Policy
Cookies are small files stored on your device when you visit a website. Some are needed for the site to work; others are optional and only set if you agree.
This policy explains which we use and how to change your choices.
Policy detail
The law we follow
Cookies are governed by the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) as well as UK GDPR. Non-essential cookies require your consent before they are set. Strictly necessary cookies do not, but we still tell you about them.
Cookies we use
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| komestaffing_session | Strictly necessary | Maintains your session and protects forms against cross-site request forgery | Session / 2 hours |
| komestaffing_settings | Strictly necessary | Remembers display preferences such as theme and text direction | 1 year |
| komestaffing_a11y | Strictly necessary | Remembers accessibility choices you set in the accessibility panel | Stored in your browser |
| komestaffing_cookie_consent | Strictly necessary | Records your cookie preferences so we do not ask again | 6 months |
We do not currently set analytics, advertising or third-party tracking cookies. If that changes, this table and the preference centre will be updated first, and non-essential cookies will only be set after you agree.
Third-party content
Our pages load fonts and icon assets from third-party providers. These may record technical information such as your IP address in order to serve the file. They are not used by us to track you across sites.
- Google Fonts — serves the typefaces used across the site.
- Iconify — serves the icon set used in the interface.
Managing cookies in your browser
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop parts of the site working — for example you will not be able to sign in or submit a form.
- Chrome — Settings › Privacy and security › Third-party cookies
- Safari — Settings › Privacy
- Firefox — Settings › Privacy & Security
- Edge — Settings › Cookies and site permissions
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
We do not set tracking cookies, so there is nothing for these signals to disable. If we introduce optional cookies in future we will honour a Global Privacy Control signal as an objection to non-essential processing.
